I have tried admin spawning animals and taming them, those over 40 still don't gather XP. I don't have any adjustments to the NPC levels in the settings and I have set it to not clamp the level on my home server. Nothing seems to work.
The max Level on officials is wild Level (After its tamed or Born ) x 2 +30. so if you manage to Breed a Level 120 near its max Level would be 270. You will need to unlock the Beastmastery discipline skill tree. You cannot tame on Freeport servers.The Olfend is a fast running mount with the ability to jump, similarly to horses but not as far. It is mostly used as a walking water source. As of that you collect water via the "c" attack from green ground or sweet water spots. Makes killing (harvestXP) much easier. Next is bear, easy to tame with wooden billboards. Elephants are great wood harvester, but in berry/veggie rich environment, it's a pain in the butt to clear the cargo. Rhino is good for stone/flint/gem/metal nodes.
