As per my previous thread I am looking to get a medium college YSL and I do love the gold hardware on it. However based on previous quality issues thread I am very concerned about the wear and tear of the gold hardware.
I’ve my had my ysl Kate bag for a few years now and take extremely good care of it but recently I’ve noticed that the gold on the logo and the chain are becoming discolored. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve asked a few bag repair shops and they’ve told me that they can’t repair hardware. I bought this Loulou 6 months ago in Capri and noticed the hardware is tarnished. I cannot remember if the tarnish is getting worse. Will YSL fix this if I take it to the store?

Have a look at the hardware on mine in my old post. The bag is 6-7 years old, and has seen on and off heavy use over the time. I am definitely careful with my bags, but this one has been on trip/to bars/grocery store. it got used.
